End-stage Kidney Disease clinical trials Near Me

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a long-term condition in which the kidneys gradually lose their ability to filter waste, excess fluids, and toxins from the blood. Over time, CKD can progress to End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD), the most advanced stage, where kidney function has declined to the point that dialysis or a kidney transplant is required to sustain life.

This study aims to evaluate how safe the investigational drug is and how the body absorbs and processes it when given as an IV infusion.

Phase IIa is open to adults 18 and older who have been diagnosed with ESKD, are currently receiving hemodialysis through a tunneled central venous catheter for at least 90 days, and meet other health criteria assessed during screening. Healthy volunteers aged 18–55 may be eligible for Phase I.

You will attend a screening visit, receive one or two IV infusions at our clinical site (depending on your phase), and return for follow-up visits over approximately 12–15 months. Our team will coordinate visit scheduling around your dialysis routine where possible.

As with any clinical trial, there are potential risks. Our medical team will review all possible risks and benefits with you in detail before you sign an informed consent form. Your safety is monitored throughout the entire study.

There is no cost to you for any study-related procedures, lab tests, or infusions. Participants may also receive compensation for their time and travel to study visits.
