Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Clinical Trials in Texas

Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) happens when fatty deposits called plaque build up inside the arteries. Over time, these narrowed or hardened arteries can reduce blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.

This study is evaluating whether an investigational medication can help lower the risk of a first major cardiovascular event, such as heart attack, coronary heart disease death, or urgent heart-related procedures, in people with elevated Lp(a).

You may qualify if you are 50 years or older, have elevated Lp(a) levels, and have cardiovascular risk factors or signs of atherosclerosis, but have not previously had a heart attack, stroke, TIA, or similar cardiovascular event. Additional criteria apply, and the study team can help determine eligibility during screening.

You can start by searching online for “atherosclerotic cardiovascular research study near me” to explore available options in your area. You may also contact ClinTrials Research directly, where the study team can guide you on available studies, locations, and help determine if you may qualify.

All clinical studies involve potential risks. Before joining, you will receive a full informed consent document explaining possible risks, benefits, and procedures. Participant safety is closely monitored throughout the study.

There is no cost for study-related care, visits, or assessments. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
